May 2012

Intro: May 2012

This is my final month at the helm of Erudition and we could not have ended on a higher note. With a near record for article content we have so much for you to enjoy reading as we prepare to head into exam season and then summer - phew!

News is looking at continued controversy surrounding Al Qatada, the upcoming Olympic Games, and that oh so strange creature George Galloway.

Features is tackling a broad range of issues that pertain to race and class, both in the UK and internationally.

Debates this month is looking at the London Mayoral Elections due to take place on May 3rd. We have two debates this month, one looking at the legacy of Boris Johnson and the other at the fight-back from Ken Livingstone.

World News considers the Falklands 30 years on, the rise of the Pirate Party in Germany, problems in Bosnia and Bahrain, and continued changes in North Korea.

On top of all this we have our usual monthly run down of columns from editors and respected writers of past and present. All that is left to say is thank you to all who have contributed to making Erudition such a success this year, and happy reading.
